| This
new cultivar is characterised by its particular yellow leaf colour
that changes with the progression of the spring season. At first
it is of a light shade then brightens up to become yellow-gold in
late summer. Of the yellow leafed cultivars it is the most resistant
to direct sunlight and heat.
The leaves are palmate in form with seven clearly distinct lobes
and slightly serrated margins.
The new growth is of an orange shade, made even more apparent by
the contrast with the brownish colour of the wood of apical branches
and with the yellow of the more mature leaves. The habit is first
erect and then more open; for this reason it does not reach a great
height.
