Acer japonicum "Vitifolium" As the name suggests, its large deep green leaves are very similar to those of the vine. They can be 10 to 12 cm in length and 12 to 16 in width with lobes that can vary between 9 and 11 cm. The edges are toothed and well marked, the main veins stand out for their lighter green colour. It is an intensive growth tree, with strong and thick little branches, it has an erect habit and can become large and with a rounded top with age. The height is between 7 and 9 metres. The autumn colouring is quite magnificent, with gold being the predominant tone and some deep crimson and scarlet shades. |
