Acer palmatum dissectum

"Green lace"

The special leaf texture, the delicacy of the weeping shape and the attractive change of the Autumn colouring, make this Gilardelli selection, one of the best cultivars among the green dissectum.
The leaves are deeply divided starting from the centre. Each lobe is finely subdivided almost up to the main vein. Also every serration is toothed and this makes the leaf look like lace-work.
The colour is bright emerald green with apical buds having light creamy shades. It becomes golden-yellow in Autumn.
The plant has a weeping habit which enables grafting at above-average heights, hence the green cascading effect.
