Acer palmatum dissectum

"Filigree"

The basic colour is light green, almost yellow-green in Spring. A profusion of light- gold or creamy coloured little spots, stains and patches covers the basic hue. The leaves take up a golden colour in Autumn which lasts very well.
The bark of branches and twigs is silvery-green with either white striations or well marked oblong spots. The leaves are deeply divided starting from the centre.
The pendulous habit, typical of the dissectum, is compact and forms a well rounded drooping plant. This is a rather recent selection.
